Story
An old tale, the story begins with the life of Yamuna (karthika) whose life is filled with nothing but worries and sorrows. This starts right from home as her husband (vijayaraghavan) is sent to jail on a false count of murder. Then, there is her five year old son who gets lost in a temple festival leaving Yamuna shattered. However, she has a strong faith in Lord Krishna and begins to pray for him relentlessly in the hope that he would come and rescue her from her grievances. True to her prayers, the lord does appear and miraculous things begin to take place. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation
The director has come up with a pure devotional flick and both the presentation and narrative were not good. The dialogues were dull, the script was stale and the screenplay was patchy. Background score was somewhat okay but the songs were not worthy. Cinematography shines at few places but not for long. Costumes disappoint and art department is the only saving grace. Saikumar does his role as required, Karthika wears the sympathy face and does her bit as per the standards, Sukumari was standard, Indrans was usual, Vijayaraghavan was regular, the others didn’t have much to offer in this one.

Conclusion
The film seems to have taken the lead from a devotional movie of the early and mid 80s. The entire length of it runs on the lines of the miracles and so much of godly presence that at one point, the audience feels that it is far too hard to get convinced by such genres. While the first half shows the sad side of the protagonist, the second half shows how divinity brings about a complete change. As much as the audience may want it to happen in real life, the portrayal of the film makes it look like a bit amateurish. At the box office, it might appeal to a very few groups but success is difficult.
