National award winning actress Priyamani will be Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s heroine in director Renjith’s forthcoming offbeat film Pranchiyettan and the Saint.
The actress has given 18 days call sheet for the film. The shooting will begin in the first week of July in Thrissur and will be completed in a single schedule.
Notably, this is the second time Priyamani working with Renjith. Earlier, she was part of his Thirakatha, based on the life of late actress Srividya. In Pranchiyettan and the Saint, Mammootty plays a rice merchant Francis (Pranchiyettan) from Trichur, while Innocent will appear as the saint. The film will be Mammootty’s Ramzan release.
